Here are some tips on how to use self-massage for headaches.

Did you know that you can relieve headaches caused by muscle tension with self-massage?

Here are some tips on how to get started:

1. Find a quiet spot:

When starting your self-massage session for headaches, make sure that you're in a quiet spot where you can relax without any distractions.

2. Use your fingers:

Using your fingers, apply gentle pressure to the temples on your forehead and the base of your skull. You can also use your fingers to massage your scalp in small circular motions.

3. Warm up your muscles:

Before starting your massage session, apply a warm compress to your forehead or take a warm shower. The heat will help to relax your muscles and soften the tissues in preparation for the massage.

4. Apply light pressure:

When massaging your temples, use light pressure and small circular movements. Slowly increase the pressure as you work your way up to the base of your skull.

5. Take your time:

Make sure that you take your time while massaging your temples and the base of your skull. Slow and steady movements can help to relieve muscle tension and help to reduce headaches.

Massage therapy doesn't have to be complicated.

By taking just a few minutes to perform self-massage, you can greatly reduce headaches caused by muscle tension.

So the next time you feel a headache coming on, give self-massage a try – you won't be disappointed!
