NEURO-LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING THERAPY:

One of the most efficient ways to treat:

PHOBIAS - FEARS - UNHEALTHY HABITS

Neuro-Linguistic Progamming

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is about understanding three important things: how our brain works (neurology), how we talk and communicate (language), and how these affect our actions (programming).

In simpler terms, NLP explores how our mind, language, and behaviour are connected. It provides useful tools and techniques that can make big, positive changes in our lives quickly.

NLP was created in the 1970s by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in California. It's different from traditional psychology because it's all about finding practical solutions and getting results, rather than just analysing problems.

How does it work?

Our default state is feeling okay. We all have a natural sense of well-being, and we're perfectly fine when we don't have negative thoughts and feelings.

Sometimes, we mess things up in our minds by telling ourselves stories, attaching emotions to them, and playing certain thoughts or images in our heads.

Our experience of life has a structure, based on the information we gather through our senses (like what we see, hear, feel, smell, and taste).

We all have habits in how we think, feel, and act, and these habits shape our lives.

So, if we change or break these habits and patterns, we can change our experience of life.

And I, as a NLP practitioner can recognise these patterns.

What is NLP for?

NLP is a therapy and creates quick and lasting changes.

It's useful for many issues like addictions (quit smoking, binging, alcohol, drugs...), body pains, skin conditions, anxiety, PTSD, and fears and phobias such as:

Spiders, lifts, going to the dentist, driving or being in a car, flying, swimming, water, public speaking, money, baked beans, buttons, heights and more.

NLP techniques are also used in business to boost productivity.

It's not just for therapy or business; NLP is used in various fields like education, medicine, law, training, sports, sales, leadership, politics, and the military.

NLP, especially when used with coaching, helps people in personal development, and I, as a qualified coach often use it to help my clients overcome obstacles and make progress.

TESTIMONIAL FROM CRYSTAL: PHOBIA OF NEEDLES TO BEING ABLE TO PROCEED WITH PHYSICAL MEDICAL INTERVENTIONS WITH CALM

"When I learned of Sabrina's NLP service, I was excited to book a session because I understand the power of the mind, that you can reprogram it, and that NLP is generally very effective for this. I've had massages with Sabrina before, so I knew I felt at ease in her presence. The practitioner is just as important as the steps of any healing process.

I decided to use the session to address a severe phobia. I have just recently had to face my worst phobia on a regular basis. It was debilitating and no amount of "pep talks" to myself made a difference. My body would react strongly and instantly – before my conscious mind even registered the presence of that of which I had a phobia. I would become seriously physically ill, to a debilitating degree.

I decided to tackle this phobia first with Sabrina because it was newly becoming a regular part of my life and I didn't want it to control me anymore.

The session definitely affirmed the power of the mind. I've noticed a complete change in my association and reaction to the old phobia!

The first change was actually during our session – I focused on something that would normally trigger illness, but it didn't. Then in the next few days, when I heard something that would normally trigger a reaction, my first instinct was to cringe with anxiety, but it felt more like an old habit than a phobia of substance, so I would just affirm to myself "I no longer need this anxiety" and it was soothed away, with no feelings of illness. Then I saw my phobia trigger on TV and I didn't flinch, look away or feel anything at all!

The positive transformation was confirmed when I was directly exposed to the phobia content. This scenario would ordinarily instantly activate the worst physiological reaction. But instead, not only did I not feel ill or panic but I had what could be considered a positive automatic thought– at the very least, it was neutral. After a few minutes I started to feel just slightly nauseous, but I could sense this was once again an old thought habit, one that was now easy to change. I was just so used to the old reaction, reality without it was hard to compute. So I took some deep breaths and affirmed to myself that it was an old an unnecessary thought habit, and the nausea was soothed away in seconds. I went about my day as usual without feeling ill or even distracted by the incident. This is an absolute miracle for me.

Sabrina's process was direct and compassionate and she worked with my own internal guidance as it emerged and I vocalised it. My phobia was trauma related, so I was careful not to ignore my internal guidance so as to honor my true needs. However you don't need to disclose anything of your trauma in order to go through the NLP process with Sabrina.

Thank you so much to Sabrina for facilitating this liberating life change. I can now make decisions and take action not based on this phobia, and I am no longer ruled by something outside of my control. This has also had an all-around encouraging effect, as I am excited to see what else my mind can help me accomplish in life."
